Dragonwell

One of China’s most famous green teas, Dragonwell (Lung Ching or Longjing in local parlance) comes from Hangzhou in Zhejiang province. This tea has a very distinctive shape: smooth and perfectly flattened along the inside vein of the leaf, the result of highly skilled shaping in a hot wok. Sweet, rounded flavor, perhaps reminiscent of freshly roasted white corn.

The weight of each resealable zip-lock pouches is 3oz or 85 g. One tea pouch can make up to 30 cups of tea.

The amount of caffeine in tea depends on a number of factors, including the method and length of brewing or steeping. Dragonwell tea has approximately 30 mg of caffeine for every 225 g. It is considered a moderate caffeine tea, that’s why we recommend to steep 2-3 minutes at 100°C.
